HANOVER, Pa. — You’ve heard the phrase “everybody poops,” right? Well, the saying also holds true for the Hanover Eaglets!
The LIVE streaming Eagle Cam was temporarily down Thursday after one of the birds relieved themselves all over the camera. Their nest is located in Codorus State Park.
The Pennsylvania Game Commission made the dubious announcement via Twitter on Thursday morning:
Millions of people across the nation have been able to get a firsthand look inside the eagle’s nest all thanks to a camera the Pennsylvania Game Commission installed above the nest in December.
The game commission hopes that tonight’s rain will wash away the droppings.
But for now, the eagles and their two young brood will enjoy their privacy.
