CHANCEFORD TWP., Pa.- UPDATE: The name of the man killed in a fatal overnight ATV accident in Chanceford Township has been released.

According to the York County Coroner’s office Zachary Hoffmaster Sr, 31,  was not wearing his helmet when he lost control of the ATV he was operating along the 700 block of  Myers Rd, causing it to rollover.

Hoffmaster was found by a  by-passer just before 2:00 a.m. Thursday.

The cause of death is multiple blunt force head trauma, the coroner’s office said.

There will be no autopsy. State police are investigating.

One man is dead following a crash involving an ATV.

It happened Thursday on the 700 block of Myers Road in Chanceford Township just before 2:00 A.M.

The York County Coroner says the man died of blunt force trauma to the head.

Crews pronounced him dead at the scene.

The victim was not wearing a helmet.
