Thousands of people in multiple countries are in need of assistance after Hurricane Matthew has ravaged homes and lives over the past few days.
There are a few ways you can help those in need.
First, there are local groups that are intending to travel down to the areas affected in order to provide disaster relief. A group of Grantville EMTs are raising money through this GoFundMe page to travel down to Haiti.
Another way to donate is to visit the American Red Cross website here. The organization provides disaster relief, and has a place for you to donate at the bottom of the page.
Finally, UNICEF is an organization that aims to save children’s lives by providing them with food, shelter, and medical supplies that they need. You can help by donating to the cause here.
