CARLISLE, Pa. — A Carlisle woman was arraigned Wednesday after she was caught switching price tags on items at Walmart last month, police said.
Authorities charged Jessica Anne Wood, 38 , with retail theft. The incident happened on April 28 at the store located along the first block of Noble Boulevard.
According to police reports, Wood removed price tags from lower-priced items and placed them on higher-priced items and then bought the merchandise at the reduced cost.
Wood was arrested and taken to Cumberland County Central Booking for processing.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 24.
