The folks behind LinkedIn came up with the idea after a survey showed one in three parents don’t understand what their child does for a living. The survey also showed that parents thought if they had a better grasp on their child’s job, they would be able to help their child with their career development.
According to their survey, here are the top ten most misunderstood jobs among parents:
1. User Interface Designer
2. Actuary
3. Data Scientist
4. Social Media Manager
5. Sub Editor
6. Sociologist
7. Radio Producer
8. Public Relations Manager
9. Sports Team Manager
10. Investment Banker
