ADAMS COUNTY, Pa. — Adams County emergency officials rescued a stuck 4-year-old in a tree.
According to a Facebook post by Northeast Adams Fire and EMS, at 10:48 a.m., officials responded to Lake Meade after receiving a 911 phone call that a 4-year-old was stuck in a tree.
As personnel arrived and assessed the situation a ladder truck was started. Due to the tree's size, diameter and height, it was unsafe for an adult to climb or use ground ladders to rescue the child.
United Hook and Ladder Company #33 arrived at the scene and was able to fly the aerial to the tree and rescue the child.
No injuries were reported.
