YORK, Pa. —

Quaker Oats adds more products to recall list

The Food and Drug Administration says two dozen granola bar, cereal and snack products that could be contaminated with salmonella are being added to Quaker Oats' recall list.

The recall includes some Cap'n Crunch and Gatorade products along with Quaker Oats. The FDA reported around 24 incidents related to the original salmonella recall, but no confirmed cases of illness. Consumers are urged to throw out any potentially contaminated products and contact the company for information on how to get a refund.

Staying safe during arctic blast

With record-breaking low temperatures and wind chills sweeping across the country this week, you could experience frostbite within minutes, and if you're out for too long, hypothermia could set in!

That's when your body temperature falls below 95 degrees Fahrenheit. Symptoms to look out for include shivering, exhaustion, clumsiness, sleepiness, weak pulse and rapid breathing. Doctors say to get inside quickly and try to warm up using lukewarm to mildly warm water.

If blistering or loss of feeling occurs in your body, get to a hospital to receive treatment immediately.

Travelers exposed to measles

Travelers at Washington DC-area airports may have been exposed to the measles.

Health officials there say a person with a confirmed case of measles traveled through Dulles and Reagan airports. The person traveled through the international arrivals of the main terminal at Dulles on Jan. 3 between 4 and 8 p.m. The following day, the same person traveled through Terminal A at Reagan National between 2:30 and 6:30 p.m.

Officials say the threat of transmission is low. Symptoms include a very high fever, coughing and fatigue, followed by a rash. Measles occurs most often in children.
