YORK, Pa. —

Study: CBD products don't ease pain

New research out of England indicates there's no evidence to prove that CBD products do anything to reduce chronic pain.

The study found they're not only a waste of money but also potentially harmful to your health. CBD is one of many chemicals found naturally in the cannabis plant, and it is sold in shops and online in oils, vapes, creams and edibles.

The products are often marketed as a cure-all for a variety of ailments, but findings from 16 randomized trials found no evidence that they help in any way and that they could even cause serious harmful side effects, including liver damage.

Uterine cancer on the rise

Recent data from the American Cancer Society reports that uterine cancer is now the deadliest reproductive disease among women.

Doctors warn of serious health disparities, citing how the cancer is more common in black women than white women, with black women more likely to die from it. Obesity is one of the major risk factors driving up cases, but there are also genetic contributions to endometrial cancer.

Experts say early detection and taking action is key to saving lives.

AI Chatbots help Gen Zs mental health struggles

A new AI chatbot is helping young Gen Zs improve their mental health.

"Earkick" is designed to help users navigate their anxiety by providing guided breathing exercises, ways to reframe negative thinking and stress management tips to its users.

The app has become a part of many therapists' approaches in treatment, but its co-founder wants to make sure users know it's not a replacement for therapy.
