GETTYSBURG, Pa. — Update, 11:11 a.m.: The stolen autograph page from the "Gettysburg" script was returned to the Adams County Historical Society this morning, the organization posted on Facebook.
The Society thanked local police and media for their efforts to locate the stolen property.
Previously: The Adams County Historical Society is searching for a suspect accused of stealing an original signed copy of the script for the movie "Gettysburg."
The Society says a suspect in a yellow-brimmed hat stole the script from an auction table on Oct. 14.
The theft occurred during celebrations for the film's 30th anniversary.
