LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — Police are investigating after a child was taken from their Ephrata home to Camden, New Jersey by their father on Saturday afternoon.

According to police, on Jan. 13, Dennis Harris Jr., 32, took his child and fled from the home of extended family members on the 500 block of East Main Street after a court order granted them custody of the child.

After filing an arrest warrant for Harris, who is from New Jersey, police departments from that state searched for the 4-year-old child.

Police stated that the child was found safe and unharmed in Camden, and was returned to her family.

Harris was also found at the same location; he was taken into custody and is awaiting extradition to Lancaster County.
