Police are investigating after teen's body found in Lancaster early Monday morning

The victim was a 17-year-old Manheim Township resident, according to Lancaster Police. The body was found at 3:44 a.m. on the 100 block of North Prince Street.

LANCASTER, Pa. — The Lancaster City Bureau of Police is investigating the death of a teenager whose body was found in the city early Monday morning.

The 17-year-old victim was found lying on the sidewalk by an officer patrolling the 100 block of North Prince Street at 3:44 a.m., police said. The individual was deemed beyond medical help and pronounced dead shortly after the body was discovered, according to police.

While there were no indications of foul play, the investigation remains ongoing, police said.

The victim was a resident of Manheim Township, police said. No additional details regarding their identity have been released at this point in the investigation.
