WASHINGTON — The last of the damp weather will clear out this evening and the rest of the week looks much nicer.
Tonight: Cloudy with lingering showers. Low: 67.
Tuesday: Mostly cloudy, isolated shower possible. High: 81.
Tuesday Night: Mostly cloudy. Low: 66.
Light showers will taper off around dinner time with mostly cloudy skies for the rest of the night. Expect a cool night again, with lows in the 60s. A few places will drop back to the 50s north and west of the Beltway.
Tuesday looks much nicer than today with clouds to start and only a low chance for a spotty shower, mostly far west of metro D.C. The afternoon will get brighter and temperatures will be a bit warmer - but still below average - in the low 80s.

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy and cool. Isolated shower chance. Highs: 77 - 82. Winds: E 10.

Wednesday looks like the nicest day this week with plenty of sunshine and only a *very* low chance for a spotty shower in the afternoon. Temperatures will still be comfortably cool once again in the low 80s.
Temperatures will get warmer day by day before we end up in the upper 80s Friday.
Our next chance for rain rolls around for the weekend. Scattered showers and storms will be possible both Saturday and Sunday as a low pressure system approaches our area.
