FEELING STICKY AND WARMER
A Bermuda high-pressure ridge is firmly in control of our region. Expect another day with warmer, more humid conditions for Friday. A few afternoon thunderstorms are possible too. A few spots may make a run at 90 degrees, however, most will warm to the middle and upper 80s.
If you are heading to the beaches, expect plenty of sunshine along the coastline with highs in the mid to upper 70s.
With abundant sunshine continuing, be very mindful of your skin. The UV index will run higher meaning your chance to burn increases. Be sure to use the sunscreen.
MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND OUTLOOK:
Expect much of the same through the holiday weekend, with highs in the middle and upper 80s, and a daily afternoon thunderstorm threat. We’ll enjoy plenty of dry hours both Saturday and Sunday. Monday, we’ll be watching for more widely scattered showers and thunderstorms. It won’t be a washout but more areas are susceptible to seeing showers and thunderstorms. Temperatures remain warm in the lower 80s.
Tuesday looks dry except, a pop-up thunderstorm can’t be ruled out. Highs are not as warm in the upper 70s to near 80 degrees. Sunshine and warm temperatures in the middle 80s are likely for Wednesday.
