PENNSYLVANIA, USA — PESKY BREEZE: Winter leaves us with a bit of a cold shoulder as we had into the first day of spring on Tuesday. Temperatures overnight drop to near freezing with highs in the mid-to-upper 40s.
However, the pesky west-northwesterly wind continues to gust over 20MPH through the afternoon. That will make the upper-40s feel closer to about 40° as we go into the afternoon with a bit more cloud cover. Otherwise, we are dry headed into Wednesday.
SPRINKLE OR TWO: A brief disturbance passes well to our north going into Wednesday, which will bring temperatures up just slightly. A few sprinkles also will be around Wednesday afternoon. Temperatures start off in the mid-30s with highs in the low-50s for the middle part of the work week. The breeze remains gusting up to 30MPH for Wednesday as well. The weak warm-up is brief, as were back into the mid-40s with a northwest breeze Thursday and Friday.
WEEKEND OUTLOOK: We continue to monitor both a storm system to the north and to the south for potential rain on Saturday. Depending on how these two storm systems develop and how work with each other will say if we get a decent amount of rain Saturday morning, or perhaps even some mixing -- or nothing at all headed into late Friday and early Saturday. Stay tuned for updates to be closer to time. The morning of both days will be in the mid-to-upper 30s with high temperatures near 50° as a round out the weekend.
