York County coroner identifies victim of March 11 shooting

According to York County's 911 dispatch, officials responded to a shooting at the 500 block of Walnut Street in York.

YORK, Pa. — Emergency crews responded to a reported shooting in York on Monday night. 

According to York County's 911 dispatch, officials responded to a report of a shooting in the 500 block of Walnut Street. 

Officials say they responded to reports of shots fired around 7:20 p.m. on April 11.

Upon arrival, police say they located a man, 29-year-old Milford Singletary, suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound.

Singletary was taken to a hospital, where he later died of his injuries.

Detectives are continuing to investigate the shooting.
