YORK, Pa. — Update, 12:15 p.m. (Wednesday): The York County Coroner's Office has identified the victim as Willie Hicks, 27, of the 900 block of Madison Avenue in York.
An autopsy has been scheduled for Thursday morning at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown.
Additional details will be released after the autopsy, the coroner's office said.
A man was found dead after a shooting in York.
According to the York County Coroner, an adult man was found dead in the area of the 400 block of West Market Street in York around 2:10 a.m. on February 26.
The coroner says police were first dispatched at approximately 1:45 a.m.
Authorities say they are investigating a motive for the crime.
