Lancaster City Police Bureau investigating shots fired incident that injured 4

There are four confirmed injuries at this time, and investigators believe the incident was not random and that there is no danger to the public.

LANCASTER, Pa. — Update, 9:15 a.m. (Jan. 27): Four people were transported to a local hospital in private vehicles for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries in connection to the incident, according to Lancaster Police.

Investigators believe the incident was not a random act, and that there is no danger to the public.

Police have not yet taken any suspects into custody, and the investigation is ongoing.

The Lancaster Bureau of Police was dispatched to the 500 block of North Franklin Street, Lancaster, around 9:08 p.m. on Jan. 26 to investigate reports of shots fired, according to Lancaster County 911 Dispatch.

It is unclear if anyone was injured or killed at the scene. Police say the investigation is active and ongoing, and they do not have any suspects in custody at this time.
