PALMYRA, Lebanon County, Pa. -- Friday night featured a shwodown in the Mid-Penn League, as Palmyra hosted Milton Hershey.

Palmyra entered the game with a perfect 7-0 record on the season. But Milton Hershey entered with a nice record as well. They were 6-1 heading into the contest.

The Cougars struggled in the first half, and entered the second half trailing 21-0. Palmyra would never recover from its sluggish start, but they did outscore Milton Hershey in the second half.with a bad first half.

On Milton Hershey's first possession in the third quarter, a snap went right through the quarterback's hands. Palmyra took advantage of the loose ball and it was recovered by Jaden Kreisier. On the ensuing Palmyra drive, Grant Haus handed the ball off to Caleb Hawkins for a touchdown to get Palmyra on the board. The point after was good, trimming Milton Hershey's lead to 21-7.

But the Spartans would answer on the next possession. Freshman Dion Bryant made a few would-be tacklers miss on his way to an 81-yard touchdown. The score put Milton Hershey up 28-7.

Palmyra would go on to score one more touchdown as the game went on, but it wasn't enough to keep the Cougars undefeated. Milton Hershey came away with the the impressive road win, 28-14, in Palmyra.
