Cumberland County sixth-grader finalist in national Sun-Maid contest

Presley Conway, 11, of East Pennsboro Township, has been selected over more than a thousand children to enter the top 15 in the national contest.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. — A Cumberland County sixth-grader has gone from helping content creators on TikTok to becoming a finalist in Sun-Maid national contest to join their Board of Imagination.

Presley Conway, 11, of East Pennsboro Township, has been selected over more than a thousand children to enter the top 15.

The contest will later narrow down to five kids to join their inaugural Board of Imagination. These five kids will help Sun-Maid develop new products and brand actions as well as receiving a $5,000 scholarship and $5,000 for their school. Kids will also be rewarded a year's supply of Sun-Maid snacks.

"I have creative ideas and I am not afraid to express my opinions with others. I am a leader at school and consider myself to be an influencer," Conway's bio says on the Sun-Maid website.

Conway says if selected, she will create a dried mango snack that is more easily chewable. She says the snack will come with a small container that has a chocolate sauce for children to enjoy.

She also says it would be an honor to have her product sold through Sun-Maid.
