YORK, Pa.--The York County Court of Common Pleas and the York County Department of Probation Services introduced a new furry friend this morning.

His name is Fahrenheit. The new facility dog will work with children in York County's juvenile justice system. Judge Joseph Adams introduced Fahrenheit and said the pet will help reduce stress.

Judge Adams says, "As we all know, the criminal justice system is a stress-producing environment for everyone involved. It is well documented that the presence of a calm, comforting, well-trained dog during this process reduces stress."
