LOWER SWATARA TOWNSHIP, Pa.–Police are looking for a woman accused of stealing someone else’s tax return in Lower Swatara Township.
Leeann Witman, 51, of Hershey, is charged with Theft by Deception, Access Device Fraud, Criminal Use of a Communication Facility, Identity Theft and Computer Trespass.
According to police reports, Witman did a tax return for the victim online and had the person’s money deposited into her mother’s account. Investigators say Witman has access to the account and utilizes it. The incident took place on January 28.
Police have issued an arrest warrant for Witman. Authorities report Witman operates a taxi cab and may be in the York and Hershey areas.
