It’s not every day you get to meet your favorite superhero, but 4-year-old Travis Kornbau saw his wish come true.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation gave Travis a day with Superman to go on a shopping spree at Toys R Us in York on Saturday.

Travis takes on his own Superman-size challenges, because he has cystic fibrosis.

“He takes more medication in a day than I probably take all year,” says his mom, Tana Dellinger.

His family says Travis was counting down the days to his Wish. He arrived by limo after lunch. At Toys R Us, he rode a four-wheeler and though carefully about each toy he chose.

“He’s thinking really hard about it,” says volunteer Kimberly Moffett. “So I think he’s going to get some good investment toys out of this deal.”

Travis said he was most excited to get an Xbox.

“I know how much he has to go through on a daily basis,” says Dellinger said of watching Travis enjoy the day. “And I know that he’s going to have to do it for the rest of his life, even after I’m done taking care of him, he’s still going to have to go through it. So it’s awesome, I’m so excited for him.”
