LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa.– Six people were taken to the hospital after a house fire.

According to Lancaster City Bureau Fire Battalion Chief Jason Greer, the fire broke out on the third floor of a row home at 8:00 a.m. on February 9 in the 400 block of Manor Street in Lancaster City.

Greer said that six people were home at the time of the fire, and they were all taken to the hospital as a precaution.

An adult and child were transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital for smoke inhalation. There is no word on their conditions.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
