HARRISBURG, Pa. – No injuries were reported after shots are fired in a road rage incident in Harrisburg. City police responded to the 1000 block of N. 16th Street at about 8:48 am this morning for a report of shots fired. Neighbors told officers that they heard several shots fired in the area at about 8:20 am.

Police also spoke with an unidentified 35 year old male who said that he was traveling east on the 1500 block of Verbeke Street. He  said that he drove around a white Plymouth Charger that was blocking the lane of traffic. The victim then stopped his vehicle at the traffic light at 15th & Herr Streets when the white Charger pull up alongside him.

The driver of the Charger began yelling at him. The victim waited until the light changed and proceeded through the intersection. He then heard multiple shots being fired. The victim looked back and saw that the driver of the Charger had parked the car and gotten out from the vehicle. He was standing on the roadway firing in his direction. The victim continued driving away from the scene.

The victim was not injured but the vehicle he was operating did receive two gunshot holes into the trunk area.

The driver of the white Charger is described as a light skinned black male in his 20’s, wearing a black skull cap and timberland style boots.
