Harrisburg City Police need your help finding a missing 9-year-old boy last seen by his family on July 1.

Emontay Williams was last seen around 5:30 p.m. in the 1400 block of South 15th Street. His family reported him missing during nap time.  Police say he reportedly climbed out a window and left the residence.

A number of people told police they saw the boy riding a bicycle in Allison Hill on July 2.

Emontay was most recently spotted with friends last week, according to police reports.

Police believe he is staying with various friends in the Allison Hill area. Investigators say it may be possible that a family is allowing Emontay to spend the night and does not realize he’s been reported as missing.

Emontay is described as a black male, approximately 4’9″ tall and 65 pounds.

Officers say they are following up on a possible custody arrangement. Emontay is said to have family in South Carolina.

Police contacted the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in the event that Emontay left the immediate area.

Anyone with information should contact police at 717-255-3163 or 717-255-3115.
