MOUNTVILLE, Pa. — West Hempfield Township police have arrested two men in connection with an armed robbery at a Mountville convenience store early Friday morning.
Zachary T. Frey, 23, and Kyle J. Gerlitzki, 21, both of Lancaster, are each charged with criminal conspiracy. Frey is also charged with robbery.
Officers responded to the Turkey Hill in Mountville around 2 a.m. for a reported armed robbery.
According to police reports, a man walked into the store, pulled out a gun and demanded money and cigarettes. The robber fled the store with the cigarettes and an undetermined amount of cash.
During the investigation, police learned that two suspicious men were spotted earlier at the Turkey Hill on Centerville Road near Columbia Avenue. The men were seen leaving the parking lot in a silver Ford F150.

While Frey was being detained, police spotted Gerlitzki driving past in the Ford F150. He was stopped and subsequently arrested.
During an interview with police, both Frey and Gerlitzki admitted they were involved in the robbery at the Mountville Turkey Hill.
Both men were arraigned and taken to Lancaster County Prison. A judge set Frey’s bail at $150,000 and Gerlitzki’s bail at $100,000.
