WEST LAMPETER TOWNSHIP, Pa.--A Willow Street man is charged with several crimes after a lengthy standoff with police at his  home that began Sunday evening and ended early Monday morning.  Kevin Lee Snow, 30, is charged with Risking a Catastrophe, Reckless Endangerment, Disorderly Conduct and Criminal Mischief. Snow will be arraigned once he is released from the hospital where he was taken for evaluation.

PREVIOUSLY REPORTED: A man has lit his house on fire after a stand-off with police that lasted more than five hours.

Officials confirmed the man lit the home on fire just before 1:30 a.m., Monday.

We are also told police have the suspect in custody.

It is not clear if the man got out of the home before the fire took place.

The building also houses apartments, those residents were evacuated earlier in the night.

No injuries have been reported.

A Police SWAT team is on the scene of an incident in West Lampeter Township, Lancaster County.

The team was called out around 7:30 Sunday night to the 2800-block of Willow Street Pike for a barricaded subject. The man reportedly told authorities that he poured gasoline all over his home and threatened to light it on fire. Negotiators are currently trying to talk to the man.

Roads around the area are closed to traffic and people are being asked to avoid the area. A number of emergency crews are staging at the Willow Street Fire Department, waiting in case they are called to the scene.
