YORK COUNTY, Pa.– UPDATE (May 17): A York woman is facing charges after stabbing a victim during a fight.
Bianca Banks, 28, is facing simple assault, aggravated assault and harassment charges for her role in the incident.
On May 16 around 12:45 a.m., police were dispatched to the area of S. Sherman Street and E. King Street in York city for a reported stabbing.
Police also responded to Memorial Hospital, where the victim was taken.
The victim told police that Banks had stabbed her in the head during a fight.
The victim said the fight began indoors over a child’s iPad, and spilled outdoors until they were separated.
Then, the victim said Banks went into her home to retrieve a large knife and came outside.
At one point, the victim entered a friend’s car to attempt to leave, and it was then that Banks allegedly opened the car door and swung the knife at her.
The victim suffered a cut to the back of her head, but did not penetrate her skull.
Banks was taken to Central Booking to be arraigned on the charges.

Emergency dispatch says the stabbing occurred around 12:45 a.m. on Thursday in the area of E. King Street and S. Sherman Street.
The victim took them self to the hospital with injuries, but the severity is unknown.
