SEATTLE, Wa.— Seattle-based Nordstrom, Inc. announced plans today to open a Nordstrom Rack at Shoppes at Belmont in Lancaster County, Pa. The 25,000-square-foot store is scheduled to open in spring 2018. The project is being developed by Manbel Devco I, Limited Partnership and leased and managed by R.J. Waters & Associates, Inc.
Shoppes at Belmont will be conveniently located at the southeast corner of U.S. Route 30 and Fruitville Pike. Nordstrom Rack will join Whole Foods, Target, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Michaels, and Ulta Beauty.
“We’re thrilled to be bringing Nordstrom Rack to Central Pennsylvania,” said Geevy Thomas, president of Nordstrom Rack. “We hope this new store will help us more conveniently serve customers who have been making the drive to our stores in Philadelphia and New York City to shop with us.”
Today the company serves customers at four Racks and two full-line Nordstrom stores in Pennsylvania.

Ground broke for the 372,100 square foot Shoppes at Belmont in fall 2016 with a grand opening projected for spring 2018. The Center is part of a mixed-use development that will also include 87 single family and townhouse units. Belmont will include Nordstrom Rack, Whole Foods, Target, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Michaels, and Ulta Beauty. A prominent portion of the development will feature a “Main Street” with smaller stores, restaurants and café’s overlooking a decorative fountain and small park area.
