LANCASTER, Pa.–A Lancaster man was sentenced Friday to 22 to 45 years in prison for the fatal shooting that left a father of four dead.

Stefon Landing, 21, was convicted last month of third-degree murder in the Jan. 4 shooting death of 22-year-old Devonte Gantt. A judge also ordered Landing to pay $23,129 in restitution.

The shooting happened along the 700 block of High Street. Gantt was found dead in a backyard on the block, police said. Both Landing and 22-year-old Amos Clay were wounded in the shooting.

Just three weeks before the shooting, Landing had plead guilty to robbery and illegal possession of a firearm.
