FRANKLIN COUNTY, Pa.– UPDATE (July 16): 11 people were displaced after a fire that affected multiple apartments in Chambersburg.
According to the Red Cross, nine adults and two children were displaced after a multi-unit fire in the first block of West Washington Street.
PREVIOUSLY: Firefighters battled a structure fire on Sunday.
The fire happened on West Washington Street shortly before 5 p.m.
The Franklin Fire Company said the fire affected multiple apartments above a business.
There were no injuries, according to fire officials.
At this time it is unknown if anyone has been displaced.
