Retailers are getting into the Cyber Monday spirit, with more than 97% of online stores offering specific deals today.

This, following a drop in consumer spending this Thanksgiving weekend.
The research firm, comScore is expecting people to spend about $2.5 billion, as shoppers hit the web in search of the best deals.

Before you dive into the deals, there are a couple of things to be aware of. First, your security. Experts say make sure the website you're shopping on starts with an HTTPS, instead of just HTTP. Also, only shop on a secure WIFI connection. And beware of contests and promotions that seem too good to be true, because they probably are. Second, your taxes. If you don't see sales tax added onto your purchase, you'll have to fill out a form later.

Many cyber sales aren't revealed by retailers ahead of time, or are only available for a short time frame. So Apps really help a new sale pops up. Use Apps like Savings.com, retailmenot, or BuyVia. Also check out CyberMonday.com. It features all of the cyber week deals by category.
