LANCASTER — Police are investigating a shooting that injured a 54-year-old man Tuesday on the 900 block of East Orange Street in Lancaster Township.
The incident happened around 11:30 a.m., according to Manheim Township Police.
The victim called police to report he was standing in the back yard of his property when he heard a distant “pop” sound, felt pain in his leg, and noticed blood beginning to soak his pant leg.
The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment, police say.
