Authorities have identified the man who was struck and killed Saturday night while trying to cross Route 15 in York County.
John Lawrence Sandy, 49, of Dillsburg, died from multiple blunt force trauma after he was hit by a vehicle in the northbound lanes of Route 15 near Glennwood Road, according to the York County coroner’s office.
Sandy was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle and his passenger was not injured, police said.
