According to emergency dispatch, the crash occurred around 11:45 p.m. on June 9 in the first block of East Swartzville Road in East Cocalico Township.

Police say that the driver of the crashing vehicle failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway and collided with a fence and large tree.

A 53-year-old man and 29-year-old woman both died as a result of their injuries from the crash. Their identities will be released pending notification of next of kin.
