ADAMS COUNTY, Pa. –UPDATE: State Police have released the name of the man who died following a 2-vehicle crash in Menallen Township.

According to State Police, 62-year-old Jeffrey Thompson, of Boiling Springs died, Friday afternoon.

Thompson was killed when a Mazda MPV struck his motorcycle at the intersection of Pine Grove Road and Shippensburg Road.

State Police say the 62-year-old was thrown from his motorcycle and declared dead upon police arrival.

State Police say, four people, one adult, and three juveniles, were in the Mazda. No one was injured, according to State Police.

A Camp Hill man has died following a 2-vehicle crash in Adams County on Friday afternoon.

The crash happened just after 4:00 p.m. on Friday on Shippensburg Road in Menallen Township.

According to State Police, a Mazda MPV struck a Honda bike on Shippensburg Road and Pine Grove Road, throwing the driver from the bike.

He died at the scene.

The coroner has been called to a crash in Menallen Township, according to Adams County 911.

The crash occurred in the area of Pine Grove Road and Shippensburg Road, dispatch says.

The call came in just after 4:15 p.m.
