A manhunt for a bank robbery suspect in Franklin County.  Pennsylvania State Police say at around 12:15 Thursday afternoon a man wearing dark glasses walked into the M&T Bank branch along the 1700 block of Lincoln Way East in Chambersburg and demanded money from a bank teller.  The man placed a package on the teller’s counter and made reference to a bomb.

After getting some cash, the man fled out the front door and crossed Route 30.  No one inside the bank was injured. Some nearby schools were placed on lockdown while the search for the bandit was underway.  Route 30 was closed in both directions for about 45 minutes while a PSP bomb squad secured the package.  It turned out to be harmless.
