York Mayor, Kim Bracey, has proclaimed March 21st as "National Disabilites Day," in the city of York.
To honor the day, artwork created by adults with intellectual disabilites was unveiled during a ceremony at York's Central Market.
The project is part of Penn Mar Human Services adapted art studio program.
Organizers say the program is therapeutic for participants and it's a great way for them to share their artistic expression with the community.
The York Revolution has also announced a partnership with the Penn Mar Art Program.
