STEELTON, Pa. –A man is arrested and charged with murder for a woman’s overdose death. Kevin Caraballo is accused of supplying the Oxycontin that killed Julie Celmer at about 4:03 am on June 15th.  Steelton Borough Police responded to assist EMS at 2401 South 5th Street. The EMS call was for a cardiac arrest. Officers performed CPR on the unconscious Celmer until the paramedic’s arrived on the scene. She did not survive, and the county coroner was called to the scene.

An autopsy revealed a high concentration of Oxycontin in Celmer’s system.  Investigation revealed that  Caraballo allegedly sold Oxycodone to Celmer for $40 causing her death.

Caraballo was arraigned before DJ Kenneth Lenker on charges of Murder by delivery of drugs, Possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance and Possession of drug paraphernalia. He is currently being held in Dauphin County Prison.
