1 dead after single-vehicle crash in Harrisburg

HARRISBURG, Pa. — One person died following a single-vehicle crash in Harrisburg on Friday night, according to officials.

The crash happened around 9:25 p.m. on the 100 block of South Cameron Street. 

Officers discovered upon arrival that a single vehicle had left the roadway and stuck a telephone pole on the east side of Cameron Street.

The driver and sole occupant, died as a result of the collision. The Harrisburg Police Traffic Safety Unit responded to the scene and is conducting the ongoing investigation.

There were no other related injuries, police said.
