EAST PENNSBORO (WPMT)-A woman accused of stealing from her co-worker at Golden Living Center pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of disorderly conduct.
Iduoze was facing theft by unlawful taking charges, but plead guilty to the lesser offense on Sept. 3, 2015.
A 54-year-old woman is facing criminal charges after stealing thousands of dollars from her co-worker at Golden Living Center last month in Cumberland County, police said.
Mabel Iduoze, of Harrisburg, was charged with theft by unlawful taking. She was arraigned on April 1 on $5,000 unsecured bail.
The victim reported the incident to East Pennsboro Township police on March 24 after $2,600 was taken from her purse at Golden Living Center. The woman said her purse was kept in a locked office that only employees had access to.
According to police reports, Iduoze stole the money to help pay for her child’s education.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 20.
Iduoze pleaded guilty to Disorderly Conduct on September 3, 2015. She paid a fine and the case is closed.
