CHICAGO — McDonald's on Monday announced a new collaboration with the iconic pop band BTS -- a new meal that features 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, medium Fries, and a medium Coke, along with Sweet Chili and Cajun dipping sauces that are available for the first time in the U.S.

The BTS Meal hits U.S. restaurants on May 26, McDonald's said in a press release.

The Sweet Chili and Cajun sauces are inspired by popular recipes at McDonald's restaurants in South Korea, the company said.

“The band has great memories with McDonald’s," said BIGHIT MUSIC, the record label of the South Korean supergroup. "We’re excited about this collaboration and can’t wait to share the BTS Meal with the world."

Since 2013, BTS has topped charts and brought people together from all over the world through their music and positive messages, McDonald's said. They are the latest celebrities to join McDonald's signature orders program, which debuted last year.

However, McDonald's said, BTS are the first celebrities to share their order with customers worldwide, as the BTS Meal will be available at McDonald's locations in 50 countries.

You can find a full list of participating countries as well as dates for meal availability here.

“BTS truly lights up the world stage, uniting people across the globe through their music,” said Morgan Flatley, Chief Marketing Officer, McDonald’s USA. “We’re excited to bring customers even closer to their beloved band in a way only McDonald’s can – through our delicious food – when we introduce the BTS signature order on our menu next month."

U.S. customers will be able to order the BTS Meal in-restaurant, through contactless mobile order and pay in the McDonald’s App, at the Drive Thru or via McDelivery.
