POCONO SUMMIT, Pa. — If you're one of the families whose July 4 holiday plans have been scuttled by the increase in flight cancellations, the Great Wolf Lodge has a plan to help make it up to you.

The indoor water park resort chain announced a new sweepstakes open to those whose flights were cancelled for the holiday weekend.

If you're one of those unfortunate people, you can tweet a photo of your cancellation notice to Great Wolf Lodge with the hashtag #GWLRescue, and you'll be entered for a drawing that awards a complementary one-night stay at any of GWL's 18 locations to 100 winners.

"Great Wolf Lodge knows how important a summer getaway is in helping families strengthen their pack, and unfortunately many family travel plans this summer are being condensed or disrupted due to flight cancellations," the company said in its announcement. "Great Wolf Lodge has long-served as a close, easy-to-get-to drive destination for families seeking a hassle-free and fun-filled getaway with its expansive indoor water park, character-rich entertainment and family-friendly attractions.

"Now, the renowned family resort is offering a reprieve to families whose planned July 4th holiday weekend getaways are disrupted due to a flight cancellation."

Great Wolf Lodge will randomly select 100 families from those who tweet the notifications with the correct hashtag for the complementary one-night stay.

The resort has East Coast locations in the Poconos and Baltimore.
