DENVER — Grammy Award winners Carlos Santana and Earth, Wind & Fire are embarking on a North American tour which is set to visit Colorado this summer.
The "Miraculous Supernatural 2020 Tour," on which the powerhouse acts will team for the first time together, is scheduled to stop at Pepsi Center in Denver on July 1.
Citi cardmembers will have presale ticket access through Thursday, Feb. 27 at 10 p.m. at CitiEntertainment.com.
A continuation of Santana's "Supernatural Now Tour," which stopped at Pepsi Center in 2019, the "Miraculous Supernatural 2020 Tour" kicks off June 19 in San Diego and wraps August 29 in Tampa Bay.
“It is a great joy and honor to co-share music with the magnificent elements of Earth, Wind & Fire," said Santana. "We look forward to delight, joy and ecstasy! I feel like a 20-year-old on stage playing with my band, and they deliver incredible energy on every song. When we hit the stage, we know we will touch your heart and make you dance, sing, cry, laugh and leave your worries and fears behind. The shows will feature the hits of yesterday, today and tomorrow…with energy!”
"We are excited to rock the USA alongside our friend Carlos Santana and his band with their off-the-chart musicianship and high energy show,” said Earth, Wind & Fire's lead vocalist Philip Bailey. "We‘re going to bring the mighty elements of the universe to the stage and take fans on a journey they’ll never forget. This is gonna be a blast!"
Pepsi Center is home to the Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche and Colorado Mammoth. The venue opened on Oct. 1, 1999 in downtown Denver.
The arena, which opened with a sold-out concert by Celine Dion, seats up to 20,000 for concerts and other events. Pepsi Center hosts more than 250 events each year.
