Keith Schweigert joined the FOX43 Digital Team in June 2017 after a 23-year career in newspapers. Born in Schuylkill County, he moved to the Lancaster area in 1991 to attend Millersville University and has lived there ever since.
At FOX43, Keith's duties include creating content for FOX43.com, managing its social media accounts, and serving as lead of the station's remote aerial camera team with Tegna Communications.
Before coming to FOX43, Keith spent 19 years working as a sports reporter and sports editor at the former Lancaster New Era. He made the switch to digital journalism as part of LancasterOnline in 2013. During his digital reporting career in Lancaster, he worked as a content producer, videographer, studio manager, and drone pilot.
When he’s not creating online content for FOX43, Keith enjoys listening to live music, cooking, working on his ever-expanding garden, sharing his endless supply of Star Wars, Simpsons, and Coen Brothers film references with his patient friends, and embarrassing his teenage children.
