PENNSYLVANIA, USA — Originally from Chester County, PA, Danielle is thrilled to be back living and forecasting in Pennsylvania! Her interest in weather began at a young age while watching summer thunderstorms from her backyard. That curiosity in the weather, combined with a daily habit of watching the local news with her family, led to her career in broadcast meteorology.
Danielle received a B.S. in meteorology as well as a B.A. in French from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. During her time in school, she interned for AccuWeather as well as at WBTV. She also spent time studying in France and China. Following graduation, she moved to Columbia, South Carolina to work at News 19 WLTX, a sister station to FOX43. In South Carolina, she covered hurricanes, tornadoes, and everything else the Carolinas had to offer. The only thing she missed out on in the south was snow, so she is looking forward to forecasting winter weather in Pennsylvania!
During her free time, you can find Danielle playing with her rescue dog, Brie, exploring new restaurants and local businesses, or out and about traveling!
