Alyssa Kratz joined the FOX43 News team in January 2022, after spending four and a half years working in the Poconos! She was previously a reporter/MMJ at Blue Ridge Cable 13, where she also spent time anchoring and producing.

Alyssa started her news career at BRC 13 after graduating Summa Cum Laude from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA. While in college, she was president of her campus TV station, and also interned at WFMZ-69 News in the Lehigh Valley, where she fell in love with reporting. Her passion for news really started in high school, where she anchored her school's morning announcements...and her parents say she's been talking since the day she was born.

Alyssa was born and raised in Montgomery County and is a diehard Philadelphia sports fan (Go Birds!). When she's not out chasing news, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, discovering new places to eat (especially places with great dessert), and binge watching The Office.

She's excited to explore Central Pennsylvania and get the opportunity to tell your stories!
