Prescription Drug Abusers and Dealers Targeting Homes

When you open your doors for an open house or to invite guests in, it’s likely that one of the last things on your mind is someone raiding your medicine cabinets for prescription drug. However, according to recent reports, the scam is occurring more often. The Realtors Association of York and Adams County had an incident about five years ago. A person was severely burned and became addicted to pain killers. The person visited several open houses in the area, stealing prescription drugs and was ultimately arrested.

Elderly Woman Murdered in Lancaster City

Police are investigating the murder of an elderly woman in Lancaster City. Officers say a neighbor found the 83-year-old woman's body with traumatic neck wounds at her home in the 200 block of West Vine Street Wednesday morning.

Two busses involved in chain collision

A chain reaction collision this morning on the Capital Beltway outside Washington, DC, involving two tour busses filled with middle school students from the Dallastown Area School District. It happened at around 10 am in the southbound lanes of the Capital Beltway near the Baltimore-Washington Parkway. A total of 10 bus loads of Dallastown 8th graders are on an annual Science field trip to Washington.
