"Preppers" In Central Pennsylvannia Are Ready For A Disaster

Most people fear the moment when disaster strikes and most people are not prepared for the moment it does.

Karen Kirk is a "Prepper" that makes a point of preparing for things like natural disasters, terrorist attacks and other crises.


She has everything from extra food, to medical supplies and communication devices.

She believes, along with many other people in the United States, that a litte goes a long way, and that packing enough for 2 weeks could save your life.

"What do you do if you have six diapers left and you have a five-day-event ahead of you and you've got that toddler and baby at home," said active Prepper, Karen Kirk.
