GREENE TOWNSHIP, FRANKLIN COUNTY -
Police nab the suspect who they say allegedly robbed a Super 8 Motel in Greene Township.
27-year-old Anwar McLeod, of Smithsburg, Maryland, has been taken into custody in connection with the heist.
Police say McLeod led them on a pursuit along Interstate 81 after the robbery. Cops caught up with him northbound at mile marker 42.
The robbery took place at the Super 8 along the 3600 block of Olde Scotland Road around 4 p.m. Saturday.
McLeod wore a bag covering his hand and approached a motel employee at the front desk, according to police. He threatened the female employee and demanded all the money she had, police say.
Police say McLeod fled to his vehicle after the robbery.
No one got hurt.
